Marco Silvestri is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in power semiconductor device quality and reliability. Currently serving as Lead Principal Engineer for Wide-Band-Gap Quality and Reliability at Infineon Technologies, Marco previously held the position of Assistant Chief Expert at Huawei, where leadership encompassed developing reliability labs and collaborating with external partners. Earlier roles at Infineon Technologies included Senior Staff Engineer and Staff Engineer, focusing on GaN quality and reliability from product concept to mass production. A postdoctoral research assistant at the University of Bristol, Marco developed novel characterization techniques for GaN devices. Early career experience includes work as a radiation effects engineer at Thales Alenia Space, supporting international space missions.
