Suman Dowlagar

Suman Dowlagar Ph.D. is a data scientist currently working at Infinia ML, an aspirion company, since January 2024. Previously, Suman served as a graduate research assistant at the Kohli Center on Intelligent Systems (KCIS), IIIT Hyderabad, from April 2020 to June 2023, where responsibilities included quality assessment for an Indian language machine translation project and the development of dialog datasets. Suman also gained experience as a research intern in AI at Dataminr, focusing on deep learning methods for entity recognition and linking. Earlier roles included teaching assistance in Natural Language Processing at the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad and working as an assistant software engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, managing data with SQL. Suman completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science at IIIT Hyderabad, along with a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
