Chris Price

Chris Price has a diverse work experience in scientific research and development. Chris is currently working at Infinitesima Limited as a Principal Research Scientist since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Research Scientist at the same company starting from October 2019. Before joining Infinitesima Limited, Chris worked at the UK Atomic Energy Authority/Culham Centre for Fusion Energy as a Physicist in Optical and Laser Diagnostics from October 2018 to September 2019. Chris also worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Infinitesima Limited from October 2015 to October 2018. In addition, Chris worked as a Research Associate at Imperial College London from October 2014 to September 2015. Chris started their career at the National Physical Laboratory as a Research Scientist from January 2006 to February 2010, where they focused on FTIR spectroscopy and radiometry measurements for NMI projects and third-party contracts.

Chris Price completed their education with a focus on physics and computational physics. Chris began their academic journey at Lancaster University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a first-class MPhys degree. During this time, they specialized in computational physics, with a particular emphasis on semiconductor physics and nanostructures. Following their undergraduate studies, Chris pursued further education at Imperial College London, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in physics. Chris attended Imperial College London from 2010 to 2015, dedicating their research and studies to the field of physics.
