George Hunt

Systems Research Scientist at Infinitesima Limited

George Hunt's work experience begins in 2012, where they worked as a Private GCSE Mathematics Tutor. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Seasonal Multi-drop Delivery Driver and Coldstore Person at Gibsons Frozen Foods. In 2016, they held an internship at Ultra Electronics Nuclear Control Systems, where they focused on computational modeling and design for improved radiation detectors. In 2017, they had a summer placement at Dstl, where they worked on developing a Synthetic Aperture Radar system. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at the European Space Agency as a Young Graduate Trainee, investigating adhesive bonding and environmental effects. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Consultant Physicist at TTP plc, tackling complex scientific and engineering problems. George then joined P2i in 2020 as a Software/Applications Engineer, contributing to the development of plasma coating machines and upgrading software solutions. Currently, starting from 2022, they hold the position of Systems Research Scientist at Infinitesima Limited.

George Hunt attended Bournemouth Grammar School from 2007 to 2014, where they completed their high school education. In 2014, they enrolled at the University of Exeter and pursued an Integrated Master's Degree in Physics. George successfully completed their degree in 2018. Additionally, in 2016, George participated in the Study China Programme at Nanjing University, where they took an intensive Mandarin Chinese course.
