Huaming Wen

Huaming Wen has extensive work experience in software engineering and research. Huaming currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Infinitesima Limited, where they are responsible for developing LabView software and producing design documentation. Prior to this role, they worked as a Software Engineer at Amfax Ltd for five years, designing and developing LabVIEW and TestStand applications. Huaming has also held Software Engineering positions at Zetechtics Limited and Cooper Technology.

In terms of research experience, Huaming worked as a Postdoc Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, conducting research in their field. Huaming also served as a Visiting Scientist at DESY, where they conducted investigations and innovated measurement systems for building a TeV Energy Superconducting Linear Accelerator.

Earlier in their career, Huaming worked at the Chinese Academy of Sciences as a Research Engineer, focusing on the development of various automatic test equipment and introducing LabVIEW to new users.

Huaming Wen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Instrumentation from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Huaming then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, completing it from 1988 to 1991. After a significant gap in education, Huaming continued their academic journey by earning a Doctorate in Electrical/Superconducting Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, attending from 2001 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Post Doctorate in Applied Superconductivity at the University of Southampton, completing it from 2007 to 2010.

In terms of additional certifications, Huaming Wen attained a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) certification from NI (National Instruments) in September 2012. Huaming later obtained a Zetechtics Certified Jupiter Systems Technician (Subsea Control Systems) certification from Zetechtics Limited in August 2014. Additionally, they achieved a Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) certification from NI (National Instruments) in June 2014.

Huaming has further strengthened their expertise by attaining the Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) certification twice. First, they obtained it from National Instruments in May 2017, and then again from NI (National Instruments) in May 2021.
