Patty Scheets

VP, Quality & Clinical Outcomes at Infinity Rehab

Patty Scheets brings a rich clinical experience to Infinity Rehab. She has provided clinical leadership in a variety of settings. In each of these settings, Patty worked to implement a systematic approach to managing movement system problems in neuromuscular and musculoskeletal patients. She has focused much of her energy on developing and implementing strategies for applying evidence in practice.

Her patient care experience began in acute rehabilitation and acute neuromedicine and neurosurgery care. It was in this environment at Washington State University in St. Louis, Missouri, surrounded by expert clinicians and physical therapy educators and researchers, that she developed her commitment to understanding her patients’ movement problems and integrating what was being learned from research into practice. Patty and her colleagues developed and published a system of Movement System Diagnoses for patients with neuromuscular conditions to describe patterns of movement problems seen in neuromuscular patients.

Before joining Infinity Rehab, Patty served as the national clinical specialist for a national home health and hospice company. In this role, she gained valuable experience in implementing advanced clinical strategies on a large scale.

Among her immense clinical experience, Patty is dedicated aiding Infinity Rehab clinicians in their professional growth. She developed and launched the Clinical Academy in August 2020, a six-month virtual immersion into the best-evidence elements of care which constitute the Infinity Rehab clinical model.

Patty also serves as the President of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy, one of the fastest growing sections of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
