James Bucher

James Bucher has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. James is currently working as a Senior Process Engineer at Infinium Holdings, Inc. since March 2021. Previously, they worked as a Senior Engineer, Fuel Cell Stack Application at Nuvera Fuel Cells from July 2015 to March 2021, where they conducted research and development for mobile hydrogen generation and PEM fuel cell technology. Before that, they served as a Senior Process Engineer at Joule Unlimited Technologies, Inc. from October 2013 to April 2015, where they designed scale-up production plants for CO2-to-fuels process and performed engineering analysis and optimization. Prior to that, they worked at Exponent, Inc. as a Senior Engineer - Thermal Sciences from September 2010 to October 2013, analyzing industrial and residential incidents and utilizing advanced techniques like XRD and SEM. James also has experience as an Environmental Field and Process Engineer at GZA GeoEnvironmental from September 2001 to March 2004, successfully implementing treatment systems for contaminated sites. Additionally, they gained industry exposure as a Summer Intern at Bayer's Monheim, Germany location in 2000, where they contributed to the pilot plant production of pesticidal compounds.

James Bucher has a strong education background in chemical engineering. James obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Brown University in 2001. James then pursued a Masters of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, completing it in 2006. James continued their education at the University of Michigan and earned a Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering in 2010. Additionally, James has an additional certification as a Professional Engineer from the Massachusetts Board of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors.
