Joe Denton

Joe Denton was named Chief Financial Officer of Infirmary Health System in 2007 and earned the Chief Administrative Officer title in 2018. Prior to joining Infirmary Health, Mr. Denton served as Chief Financial Officer at the Health Care Authority for Baptist Health in Montgomery and worked at Tenet Healthcare for 14 years in multiple roles, and was named an outstanding Chief Financial Officer six times. Mr. Denton, whose hometown is Mobile, graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in accounting in 1984. He earned his CPA certification in 1989 and later received an MBA from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. A 2009 graduate of Leadership Mobile, Mr. Denton participates in a number of Alabama Hospital Association initiatives. In addition, he served on numerous local and state boards.
