Vinay Bansal

Vinay Bansal is the Founder & CEO at Inflection Point Ventures. Vinay has over 19 years of experience in various leadership roles in finance, strategy, and operations.

Bansal began their career at GE Energy in July 2010 as the Leader of Financial Planning and Analysis for South Asia. In this role, they were responsible for overall financial budgeting & forecasting, long & short range planning, analytics, and supporting systems across portfolio companies.

In December 2014, Bansal joined Wildcraft India as the CFO & CIO. In this role, they were responsible for building business plans and ensuring delivery across portfolios, as well as hiring key talent and overseeing financial budgeting & forecasting.

In July 2016, Bansal joined TPG Global as a Senior Advisor. In this role, they were responsible for due diligence and identification of improvement areas for new deals, setting up for exits/IPOs, and helping promoters of Indian consumer companies enable scale up.

Bansal has played a key role in the turn-around of Vishal Megamart and the overall management of TPG Capital's portfolios. Vinay has been instrumental in creating significant value for TPG Capital through their work in financial planning, analysis, and operations.

Vinay Bansal attended the Indian Institue of Management, Calcutta where they completed a supply chain management course. Vinay is also a qualified ICWA and ACA from the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India respectively. Additionally, they have also cleared their CS from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Vinay holds a Bachelors Of Commerce degree from Panjab University. Vinay's schooling was completed from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan.
