Thea Maisuradze Etulain has a long and varied work experience. Thea began their career in 2004 as an Associate Reintegration Officer for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Somalia. In 2007 they became Program Manager for Catholic Relief Services in Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. In 2008 they took on the role of Project Coordinator for Gender-Based Violence at UNFPA. In 2010 they became an Analyst for Steptoe & Johnson LLP. In 2011 they were appointed Director of Coalition for Justice. In 2014 they were a Consultant for United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Georgia, as well as a Senior Fellow and Head of Programs at the Georgian Institute for Strategic Studies (GISS). In 2015 they became a Mentor/Consultant for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Finally, in 2016 they began working as Chief Marketing Officer, Head of Business Development, and Marketing Director for Inflectra Corporation.

Thea Maisuradze Etulain attended The Fletcher School at Tufts University from 2002 to 2004, where they earned a MALD in International Relations and Affairs. Prior to that, they attended Kutaisis 'Akaki ?eretlis' Sakhelobis Sakhelmtsipo Universiteti from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor Of Arts in Philology; English Language and Literature.
