Aaryn Flynn has a diverse work history that spans over two decades. Aaryn began their career at Bioware in 2000, starting as a Programmer and working on various projects, including Baldur's Gate 2, Neverwinter Nights, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Aaryn steadily climbed the ranks, becoming the Lead Programmer, Assistant Director of Programming, Director of Programming, and eventually the Studio CTO.
In 2009, Flynn transitioned to the role of Studio COO at Bioware and later took on the responsibilities of Studio General Manager, overseeing development in both Edmonton and Montreal. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in the launch of Dragon Age: Origins.
After leaving Bioware in 2017, Flynn joined REinVR Real Estate in Virtual Reality as an Investor, working with the founder to promote the use of computer game rendering technology in real estate development.
In 2018, they joined Improbable as the GM for North America, contributing to the growth and success of the company until 2021.
In 2021, Flynn took on the position of Chief Executive Officer at Inflexion Games. Aaryn also serves as the Chair of the A100, a position they have held since 2021, and has been a Member of the A100 since 2017.
Aaryn Flynn pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing Science with a Business Minor at the University of Alberta from 1996 to 2000. Afterward, in 2012 and 2013, they attended both Cornell University and Queen's University to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, although the field of study for the MBA is not specified.
