Teresa Vanderpool

Teresa Vanderpool has extensive work experience in software quality assurance and testing. Teresa started their career as a Payer Analyst at National Data Corporation in 1998, where they programmed and maintained bridge routines and tables for client-specific environments and coordinated medical claims between providers and insurance companies. Teresa then joined Electronic Data Systems in 2000, where they trained on back-end systems, served as an EDI technical lead, and provided backup support for operator positions. After that, they worked at Adecco Staffing, USA as a Test Engineer II - Lead, leading a team of two test engineers and ten test technicians, defining automation requirements, and serving as the point of contact for testing projects with customers.

In 2006, Teresa joined Healthwise as a Quality Assurance Software Tester III, Lead. Teresa'sresponsibilities included testing medical content using automated and manual tests on the Regression team, as well as testing vision and prototypes for new projects. Teresa then worked at Bodybuilding.com as a Quality Assurance Engineer II, where they conducted full life cycle testing of e-commerce fulfillment processes and tested order management and warehouse management backend processing systems.

In 2013, Teresa joined BMC - Building Materials and Construction Solutions as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, where they tested enterprise ASP.NET 4.0 cloud-based solutions. Teresa also worked at ArmgaSys, Inc. as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, testing mission-critical readiness tools for the U.S. Department of Defense and Navy.

From 2016 to 2018, Teresa worked as a Senior Test Engineer at Criterion Systems. In this role, they were the sole testing resource for the USDA Forest Service's Wildland Fire Decision Support System, a highly complex application with multiple geospatial layers and ETL interchanges.

Teresa'smost recent position is as a Software Developer In Test at Inflight DataLab, where they create and maintains automation tests using TestCafe (Node.js) and validates SOAP/REST APIs using tools like Runscope/BlazeMeter and Postman.
