Eric Leinberg, Information Management Executive

Eric Leinberg is an Information Management Executive with over 35 years of experience. Eric began their career in 1984 at Eastman Kodak Company, Inc. as a Technology Development Engineer, where they were responsible for research and development work to ensure new Kodak products were designed to be serviceable. In 1994, they moved on to Othro-Clinical Diagnostics, a Johnson & Johnson Company, as a Senior Software Engineering Team Leader. Eric then joined Eastman Kodak Company, Inc. again in 1997 as a Senior Software Engineering Manager.

In 1995, they founded Top Domain Registry, Inc., providing domain name registry and registration services for 500 US locality domains. Eric engineered, managed, and operated an online portal and collaborated with Jon Postel and US Department of Commerce to commercialize the . In 1997, they founded VoTiV Systems, where they identified the need for engineering solutions for Internet domain name registry and registrar providers. Eric managed daily technical operations, implementation of new products, and development of technical strategic direction.

In 2000, they joined NameEngine, Inc. as an Executive Vice President of Engineering, Board Member, and Owner. Eric served on the board of directors and conducted technical marketing research, developed technical strategy, managed internal research and development projects, managed product development, established and maintained technical partnerships, and interfaced with standards organizations and business partners to expand the customer base to include 40% of the Fortune 100.

In 2001, they joined VeriSign, Inc. as a Senior Product Manager, where they created and executed strategic plans and business requirements to build a product line for the online management and protection of brands for large and mid-sized corporations from $10 million to $28 million. Eric developed, launched, and enhanced the VeriSign Digital Brand Manager, the industry leading customer web portal for online management and protection of brands, improving customer satisfaction from 20% to 85%.

In 2007, Eric was an Executive Consultant for Epostmarks, Inc. and in 2008, they founded InfoPreserve Inc., a simple and easy to use Cloud content and records management solution that automatically makes a company’s documents, business emails, and scanned records instantly shareable and searchable across the enterprise. Eric led a team that designed and built a SaaS solution for document preservation and records management and conducted beta tests, completed extensive market research, and formulated go-to-market plan.

Eric Leinberg, Information Management Executive, has a diverse educational background. Eric attended Greece Olympia High School from 1976 to 1980, where they earned a Regents Diploma. Eric then went on to Syracuse University from 1980 to 1984, earning a BS in Computer Engineering. Finally, they attended the University of Rochester from 1986 to 1987, earning an MS in Electrical Engineering.
