Mark Middleton has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mark is currently working at Infopro Digital as a Product Development Director since November 2021. Before that, from 2015 to 2021, they held the same role at Informa Intelligence.

Prior to their roles in digital product development, Mark co-founded Hanzo in 2006, a web archiving company, where they served as the CEO and successfully established a commercial proposition across compliance, eDiscovery, and heritage sectors. Hanzo is now one of the top three vendors globally, with customers including globally recognized brands, leading law firms, broadcasters, and government departments.

Mark also worked at the British Library as a Web Archiving Programme Manager from 2004 to 2006. Earlier in their career, they served as the CEO of E-People.com Ltd from 1998 to 2004 and worked as the CTO at Wide Learning from 1999 to 2001.

Before that, Mark co-founded Zuno Ltd, a software spin-off inside Mitsubishi Electric, where they served as the CTO. The company implemented a new digital publishing system targeting the needs of the Scientific, Technical, Medical publishing sector, which won the Seybold HotPick in 1998.

Mark's career started at Mitsubishi Electric UK Ltd in 1988, where they held various roles from a Systems Engineer to IT Strategist until 1996.

Mark Middleton attended the University of York from 1983 to 1988, where they earned a B.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering.
