Chris Swan

Chris Swan is an accomplished engineer and technology leader with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently, Chris serves as an engineer at Atsign, focusing on the development of atPlatform, a solution aimed at enhancing user control over personal data. In addition, Chris has contributed as an editor for InfoQ since 2013, specializing in cloud technologies, containers, DevOps, and security. Previous roles include significant positions at DXC Technology, where Chris acted as a fellow and vice president, leading initiatives in modern application adoption and organizational strategies for improving efficiency through analytics and DevOps culture. Chris also held various leadership positions at UBS, Capital SCF, and Credit Suisse, emphasizing technology strategy, security architecture, and innovative solutions within the financial services sector. Chris holds an MBA from The Open University Business School and a BEng in Electronics Engineering from the University of York.
