Fernando Alonso

Fernando Alonso began their work experience in 2004 as a Marketing Intern at Eastman Kodak Company. From there, they worked as a Trainee at Lorenzetti S/A before moving on to roles at Ambev, where they served as a Commercial Representative and then Sales Supervisor. In 2011, they became a Regional Sales Manager at Martins before joining SANY do Brasil as a Regional Sales Coordinator in 2012. Alonso then transitioned to R-Dias, where they held the position of National Sales Manager. In 2014, they joined UBM Brazil as a Product Manager and later became a Sales General Manager. Fernando currently holds the position of Sales Operations Manager at Informa Markets Latam, where they have been since 2018.

Fernando Alonso completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing from 2002 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Fernando Alonso has also obtained various certifications. In 2022, they received the Informa Ignite - Data Driven Journey - Green Belt certification from Informa. Fernando also completed the "Produtividade e Gestão do Tempo" certification from Escola Conquer. In 2021, they obtained the Virtual Events Institute Professional (VEIP) certification from Virtual Events Institute - VEI. In 2020, they received the Power BI Week certification from Microsoft Certifications and the "Como Fazer Perguntas Poderosas para Vendas" certification from LinkedIn. In 2019, they obtained the BPM - Mapeamento e Melhoria de Processos certification from Fundação Vanzolini. In 2018, they completed the Vendas B2B Experience certification from Vendas B2B Academy, and in 2016, they obtained the Core Competence Sales certification from Net Profit Brasil. Fernando is also a member of the 2020 Learning Council Member (Sales) at Informa Markets.
