Karen Attia

Karen Attia is an accomplished professional in event management, currently serving as the Head of VIP Relations at Informa Markets since January 2022 and as the Global Audience Development Manager. Additionally, Karen has been the Seatrade Maritime Club Director since February 2022. Previously, Karen held the position of Event Director at Informa Markets from November 2018 to December 2020, leading the Seatrade Cruise Portfolio and overseeing various marine events in the EMEA region. From December 2014 to November 2018, Karen worked at UBM plc as an Event Manager, collaborating with senior management to align product development with strategic goals. The early career includes roles at Seatrade Communications Ltd., Interscience Communications Ltd., Jump Media, and Moore Stephens, showcasing a steady progression in event coordination and management. Karen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Event Management from the University of Greenwich and an International Baccalaureate from The International School of Azerbaijan.
