Gary Nugent

Gary Nugent is the current Chief Executive of Informa Tech at Informa. Gary has been with the company since October 2014, and in their current role since January 2017. Prior to that, they were the Director of Sales & Marketing for Informa Business Intelligence.

Informa Business Intelligence serves the industry intelligence needs of corporations and governments worldwide in a large range of vertical sectors, including banking and financial services, IT, telecoms & media, pharmaceutical & healthcare, maritime & law, agriculture & commodities and consumer packaged good & retail.

The business is comprised of globally recognised brands such as Lloyds List, Ovum, Datamonitor, Scrip, Citeline, Informa Economics Group and Informa Global Markets offering structured databases, subscription-based services, real-time news, research and business-critical information designed to create competitive business advantage for our customers.

Traditionally a print business, digital delivery is today at the forefront of all our business with online news and data services becoming increasingly important and popular with our customers.

Gary Nugent went to Greenock High School and then to the University of Strathclyde where they got a B.Eng/B.Sc in Information Engineering.
