Rashmi Garde

Rashmi Garde serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Informatica, where she leads the company’s global legal and compliance teams and is also a member the Executive Committee. She brings more than two decades of experience advising high-growth technology companies through rapid expansion, complex transactions and strategic transformation.

Prior to joining Informatica, Rashmi held senior legal leadership roles at several enterprise software and SaaS companies. She was Chief Legal Officer at Sophos and General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Centrify, a cybersecurity firm specializing in privileged access management. Earlier, she served as General Counsel at Bloomreach and Marin Software, guiding both companies through key growth phases, including Marin’s IPO.

Rashmi also spent nearly a decade at VMware, where she was Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. During her tenure, she helped scale the company from a startup to a multibillion-dollar global enterprise.

She began her career as a software engineer at Rolm Systems and Apple before transitioning to law. Rashmi holds a B.A. in Computer Science and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.
