Matt Richardson

Matt Richardson, CTCE, is an experienced intelligence professional currently serving as the Head of Intelligence at the Canadian OSINT Centre since December 2024. Richardson has held various significant roles, including Senior Advisor and Director of Intelligence and Child Safety at the Anti-Human Trafficking Intelligence Initiative since January 2021. As a Subject Matter Expert at the TC Online Institute and a Cybersecurity Consultant and Educator at both Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst and the Information and Communications Technology Council, Richardson has demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity. Additionally, Richardson contributes to academia as a Professor and Course Developer at Loyalist College and as a Professional Speaker for the Human Resources Professionals Association. Previous experience includes working as an Intelligence Consultant at Echosec Systems Ltd. and a Constituency Manager for the Government of Canada. Richardson’s educational background encompasses degrees and certifications in Open Source Intelligence, Adult Education, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Business Administration.
