Todd Legere has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Todd began their career in 2016 with Sobeys, where they worked as an Atlantic Operations team member. In 2017, they became a Procurement Analyst in Atlantic Category Management before transitioning to a Graduate Research Assistant role at Cape Breton University.

Legere then joined Sobeys again in 2019 as a National Category Management - Centre Store team member. In 2020, they worked at Kisserup International Trade Roots, where they held multiple positions including International Business Consultant, Junior Consultant, and International Business Intern.

In 2021, Legere worked as a Researcher for APEC before joining the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) in 2022 as an Economist & Research Analyst.

Todd Legere completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Business at Cape Breton University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at St. Thomas University (CA) from 2013 to 2017, majoring in Economics and Criminology with a Business Specialization. In terms of additional certifications, Todd obtained the certifications for "The Fundamentals of OCAP®" from Algonquin College Corporate Training in October 2022, "Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA+)" from the Government of Canada in December 2020, and the "Certified International Trade Professional (CITP|FIBP) Designation" from the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) in January 2022.
