Travis Cole

Travis Cole has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Security Solutions Engineer at IIT - Information & Infrastructure Technologies, Inc. Travis joined the company in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as a Cyber Defense Incident Responder since September 2016.

Before their time at IIT, Travis worked at Chili's as a Server, Trainer, and Bartender from November 2012 to September 2016. In this role, they were responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, and handling cash and credit card transactions.

From December 2010 to November 2012, Travis served as an Assistant Manager at County Cookin. In this role, they supervised employees, attended managerial meetings, managed payroll, and ensured customer satisfaction.

Travis also has experience in the United States Marine Corps. Travis served as a Section Chief from September 2009 to August 2010, where they supervised a unit of 15 Marines and managed logistics. Prior to that, they worked as an Infantryman from August 2006 to August 2010, where they received training on various weapons.

Overall, Travis Cole has a well-rounded work experience, showcasing their expertise in security solutions, incident response, customer service, supervision, and military operations.

Travis Cole began their education journey in 2010 when they enrolled at Laurel Ridge Community College. Travis pursued a degree in AAS Network Engineering and completed their studies in 2012. Following this, in 2015, Travis attended Kaplan University where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Information Technology. However, their time at Kaplan University was only for a year as they completed their studies in 2016.

Aside from their formal education, Travis has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2009, they completed the Combat Lifesaver Course offered by the United States Marine Corps. Travis went on to obtain certifications in Splunk, including the Splunk Core Certified Power User certification in 2019 and the Splunk Certified User certification in 2017. Travis also acquired the CySa+ certification from CompTIA in 2018, as well as the CompTIA A+ ce certification in 2016. Furthermore, they obtained the Swimlane Certified SOAR Administrator and Swimlane Certified SOAR Developer certifications from Swimlane in 2020. Lastly, Travis earned the Recorded Future Certified Analyst certification from Recorded Future in 2019.
