Muneera Mubarak Al-Fadhel, Ph.D., has extensive experience in legal and human resource management. Currently serving as the Director of Human & Financial Resources at the Information & eGovernment Authority since December 2014, Muneera also holds the position of Legal Advisor and Chief of Legal Affairs. Prior roles include Attorney and Counselor at Law at Sh. Salwa Al Khalifa legal firm, Senior Legal Researcher, and Legal Researcher at the Supreme Council for Women, as well as Lawyer at Dalal Al Zayed Attorneys-at-Law and Legal Consultants. Muneera earned a Ph.D. in Public Law, Constitutional Law from the University of Bahrain, a Master’s degree in Public Law from Applied Science University, and a BSc in Law from the University of Bahrain.

Information & eGovernment Authority
Promulgated by the Royal Decree No. 69 in October 2015, both the eGovernment Authority and the Central Informatics Organization were merged into the ‘Information & eGovernment Authority’ (iGA). Reporting to the Ministerial Cabinet, the authority’s initiatives are in line with the strategies, plans and programs set by the Ministerial Committee for Information Technology and Communication (MCICT) - chaired by H.E. Minister of Interior Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa Minister of Interior. Currently, iGA is working on establishing newly unified vision, strategy, plans and objectives to serve every citizen, resident and business in Bahrain.
