Leopold Wildenauer

Leopold Wildenauer is the policy manager on ITI’s public sector team. He oversees the team’s cybersecurity policy portfolio and works to promote public policies that are risk-based and outcomes-focused. He creates and amplifies ITI’s messaging for a harmonized approach to federal cybersecurity that integrates various efforts into one coherent framework. These include the Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program, shared service adoption through the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and zero trust strategies for civilian and national security systems. He also organizes ITI’s cross-sectoral work on Executive Order 14028 on Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity.
