Uday Desai

Uday Desai has over 27 years of experience in the IT industry. Uday began their career in 1993 as a Systems Analyst/DBA at Nilpa Software Systems Pvt Ltd, where they identified business needs of clients and documented business, organizational, and/or operational requirements. In 2004, they joined datAvail as a SQL Server DBA Director, where they were responsible for maintaining databases and providing support while actively working with MSSQL technologies. In 2006, they moved to Stratavia as an MS SQL DBA Director. From 2014 to 2020, Uday Desai worked at inspiro infotech as CTO and Database Architect. Currently, they are the Manager Database Technologies at Infosenseglobal Inc.

Uday Desai's education history includes a B Sc Maths from South Gujarat University obtained between 1987 and 1990, a Diploma in Computer Applications from Aptech obtained between 1992 and 1993, an MBA in Information Systems from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology - SMU obtained between 2003 and 2005, an MCDBA from Microsoft SQL server obtained in 2002 and 2003, and they are currently pursuing a PMP from PMI. Uday also holds a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) certification from Microsoft.
