Laura Buchanan, MBA, BSN, RN has 38 years of professional experience in the healthcare industry. Laura began their career in 1999 working as a Business Consultant for SOS - Strategic Organization Solutions. In 2005, Ms. Buchanan co-founded the Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design. In 2006, they began working as a Clinical Resource Consultant for Medical Procurement at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Since 2008, they have been employed as a Clinical Healthcare Consultant and Business Analyst at InfoWorks, Inc. In this role, they vet software packages, implements EHR systems, and designs process improvement strategies for healthcare companies.
