Zeeba Askar

Zeeba Askar, CFA, currently serves as the Chief Investment & Sustainability Officer and Board Member at Infracorp Bahrain since July 2023. Zeeba holds a notable position as a Board Member and Treasurer for the Bahrain Association of Banks until October 2024. Previously, Zeeba led the Banking and Finance Centre at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance from October 2020 to May 2023, driving strategic initiatives to enhance human capital in the financial sector and promoting sustainable finance practices through the establishment of the Sustainable Development Academy. Zeeba's extensive experience includes roles such as Deputy Chair of the Sustainable Development Committee at the Bahrain Association of Banks and Investment Director at Ithmaar Bank, among others. Academic credentials include an EMBA (Honors) and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bahrain.
