Chidi Mike-Eneh

Chidi Mike-Eneh has a diverse and extensive work experience in credit risk management and financial services. Chidi has held various roles in reputable organizations such as Financial Centre for Sustainability (FC4S), InfraCredit, Union Bank of Nigeria, Stanbic Bank, and Citi.

Starting in 2019, Chidi served as a Board Member and Risk & Legal Thematic Lead at the Financial Centre for Sustainability (FC4S). Prior to that, from 2018 to 2019, they were the Head of Credit Risk at InfraCredit, where they were responsible for identifying, monitoring, and reporting credit risks. In this role, they also provided oversight for credit risk and compliance procedures and designed risk frameworks for the organization.

From 2015 to 2018, Chidi worked at Union Bank of Nigeria as a Senior Credit Analyst. In this position, they handled a large portfolio of corporate credits, conducted evaluations and analysis, and provided mitigants for identified risks. Chidi also played a role in designing and implementing rating methodologies and IFRS 9 implementation.

At Stanbic Bank, Chidi served as a Credit Manager from 2009 to 2014. In this role, they managed credit risk in sectors such as power, oil & gas, manufacturing, infrastructure, and service. Chidi executed origination, credit analysis, and validation of project finance deals, conducted detailed financial analysis, and identified key business and market risks. Additionally, they managed structured trade finance deals and corporate credits.

Chidi's early career experience includes working at Citi as a Credit Risk Manager from 2001 to 2006. Chidi managed a classified credit portfolio, successfully recovering delinquent loans. Chidi also supported risk management services and conducted credit analysis.

Chidi dedicated four years to their undergraduate studies, successfully completing them in 2001.

Driven by their interest in international business and emerging markets, Chidi continued their academic journey by enrolling at the University of Edinburgh Business School in 2007. Over the course of one year, they undertook a Master of Science (MSc) degree program in International Business and Emerging Markets. This program provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape in emerging markets and the global economy.
