Eduardo Borges Pires

Eduardo Borges Pires is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy, planning, and control within the transportation sector. Currently serving as the Head of Strategy, Planning and Control at Infraestruturas de Portugal since June 2015, Eduardo has held various leadership roles, including Head of Studies and Innovation and Director of Mobility and Clients Department. Previous positions include Deputy Director at EEIG Atlantic Corridor and Responsible for the Department of International Business Development at REFER, where coordination of the international strategy was key. Eduardo's expertise further extends to consulting roles at DB International GmbH and advisory positions within the Portuguese Government's Secretary of State for Transports. Eduardo holds a Post Graduation in Transportation from Instituto Superior Técnico, an Erasmus degree in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, and a five-year degree in Civil Engineering (Structures) from Instituto Superior Técnico.
