Andy Shields

Andy Shields is the Founder and Managing Director of Global Shields Group, a consultancy providing independent services in the global data center and colocation markets since January 2017. With extensive experience in client development for data centers at Ramboll and advisory roles for several companies, including Gateway Digital Infrastructure, Iozera.ai, Mainspring Energy, and Consuo Networks, Andy focuses on delivering energy solutions, advanced technology integration, and sustainable practices. Additionally, Andy serves on the Board of Advisors for the Alzheimer’s Association®, influenced by personal experiences, while contributing as a Global Ambassador for the Nomad Futurist Foundation, advocating for educational access. Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Geography from Southern Connecticut State University.
