Stan Mierzwa

Stan Mierzwa is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in academia and technology. Currently serving as the Managing Assistant Director and Lecturer at Kean University since December 2019, Stan is also a Fellow at the Institute for Critical Infrastructure Technology, where contributions focus on enhancing cybersecurity resilience across critical infrastructure sectors. As President of the New Jersey Chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance and a board member at the Vennue Foundation, Stan actively promotes cybersecurity initiatives. Previous roles include Lead Application Security at the State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority and Director of Information Technology at the Population Council. Stan holds multiple degrees, including an MS in Management, Information Systems from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and is a doctoral candidate in Information Technology. Certifications include CISSP, CCSK, CCSA, and ITIL.
