Dr.-Ing. Nazereh Nejat

Dr.-Ing. Nazereh Nejat has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 2003, they started their career as a Research Assistant at the Earthquake Disaster Research Laboratory. Dr.-Ing. Nazereh then worked as a GIS Developer at TGIC from 2004 to 2005 and as a GIS Expert at IWW from 2006 to 2007. Dr.-Ing. Nazereh also completed an internship at Angermeier Ingenieure in 2007.

In 2008, Dr.-Ing. Nejat joined OBERMEYER as a CIS and remained with the company until 2016. In 2016, they joined Autodesk as a Technical Specialist and later became a Consultant at their own company. From 2017 to 2021, Dr.-Ing. Nejat served as the Head of the BIM Team at Ingenieurbüro Grassl GmbH in Munich.

In 2021, they joined TÜV SÜD Advimo GmbH as a Teamleiter BIM und Senior Consultant, where they worked until 2022. Currently, Dr.-Ing. Nejat holds the position of Director of Services at Infrakit, starting in September 2022.

Dr.-Ing. Nazereh Nejat obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tehran in 2003. Dr.-Ing. Nazereh then pursued further education and completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in GIS from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences between 2005 and 2007. In 2003-2004, Dr.-Ing. Nazereh Nejat attended Tohoku University to study Earthquake Disaster Control and Management, earning a JYPE. Finally, they obtained their highest degree, a Doctor of Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) in Construction Informatics from Technische Universität Dresden, where they studied from 2010 to 2017.
