Jorge Mendes

Jorge Mendes has a diverse work experience in various industries. Jorge started their career as a Scientific Researcher at IPN in 2010. Jorge then worked as a Solution Engineer at OGMA-Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal, SA, where they designed aircraft modifications. Jorge then joined IBM as a Technical Solution Manager, leading teams to create outsourcing solutions for different industries.

In 2017, Jorge joined SAP as a Solution Advisor, where they interacted with prospective customers, provided solution demonstrations, and collaborated with sales teams. Jorge also participated in the SAP Presales Academy in San Ramon, California.

After that, Jorge worked at Salesforce as an Account Executive, formulating and executing a sales strategy for Salesforce Commerce Cloud in Portugal. Jorge worked closely with customers, understanding their challenges and goals to provide customized solutions.

Currently, Jorge is the Regional Sales Manager - Iberia at Infraspeak. Jorge is responsible for the Portuguese and Spanish markets, managing a team and ensuring revenue targets are met. Jorge also oversees the Go-to-Market strategy for the region.

Jorge Mendes has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Universidade de Coimbra, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Jorge then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university, completing it from 2012 to 2013. Within this timeframe, they also obtained a Spanish Language Certificate (B1) from the University of Coimbra in January 2013.

In 2011 to 2012, Jorge pursued another Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, this time at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Following their academic pursuits, Jorge obtained several certifications in the field of technology and business. These include the Salesforce Trailhead Ranger certification from Salesforce in September 2022, the Qualtrics Customer XM Presales Certification from Qualtrics in November 2020, the SAP Presales Skills 2018 - SAP Customer Solution Advisor certification from SAP in October 2018, and the SAP Certified Application Associate - Business Process Integration with SAP S/4HANA 2017 certification from SAP in December 2017.
