Danielle Townley has extensive work experience in the legal and procurement fields. Their most recent role was as the Senior Vice President of Procurement at Infrastructure Ontario, where they were responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Procurement, where they managed a team of professionals and provided strategic advice for capital procurements. Danielle also held positions as the Director of Legal (Public-Private Partnerships), Senior Legal Counsel (Public-Private Partnerships), and Legal Counsel, Real Property at Infrastructure Ontario, where they provided legal support for infrastructure projects and managed external counsel. Before joining Infrastructure Ontario, Danielle worked as an Associate Lawyer in Corporate Real Property at Bennett Jones LLP, advising clients on various real estate and lending transactions. Danielle began their legal career as a Summer & Articling Student, Associate Lawyer at Torys LLP, specializing in commercial real estate law and mergers and acquisitions.
Danielle Townley obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Windsor in 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in History at the University of Windsor from 1996 to 1998. Danielle also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Acadia University, earned between 1992 and 1996.
