Kahira Ngige

Kahira Ngige currently serves as a Senior Advisor at Infrastructure Ontario since October 2023. Previously, Kahira worked as a Consultant at Open Capital from October 2020 to September 2023, focusing on driving growth and delivering impactful solutions across Africa. Prior experience includes a role as Strategist at Galana Oil Kenya Limited in mid-2020 and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where extensive research on real estate markets in Kenya and Tanzania was conducted. Other notable positions include an R&D Intern at IMKAN Properties, where a design-led business strategy for mixed-use developments was advanced, and an Assistant Planner at Peter Brett Associates, providing advice on economic and housing policies. Kahira holds a Master in Urban Planning from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning, Design and Management from UCL.
