Alexandru Dumitriu

Alexandru Dumitriu has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Alexandru is currently the IT Area Lead at ING Hubs Romania, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Chapter Lead / Developer at the same company from October 2018 to September 2022.

Before joining ING, Alexandru worked at ING as a Team Lead / Developer at the ING Software Development Center from March 2012 to 2018. Alexandru was also a Software Developer at ING contractor from RINF from October 2011 to February 2012.

Earlier in their career, Alexandru worked as a Software Consultant & Developer at Materna Information & Communications from February 2009 to October 2011. Alexandru gained experience as a Software Engineer at Blazent Consulting from July 2006 to November 2008.

Alexandru began their professional journey as a Tester at IBM Romania in January 2006, where they worked until July 2006.

Alexandru Dumitriu completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, specifically focusing on Routing, Traffic, and Services, from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Alexandru attended the university from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Colegiul National Sf Sava from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Dumitriu obtained several certifications such as the Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in 2015, the Oracle Certified Professional for Java SE 7 Programmer from Oracle in 2014, and the Sun Certified Java Programmer for Java 1.4 from Sun Microsystems in 2006.
