Elena Cotan

Elena Cotan has a solid work experience starting in 2006 as a Call center operator at FirsData Romania, followed by roles as Payments officer and Cards officer at Volksbank Romania from 2008 to 2014. In 2014, they joined ING Hubs Romania and held various positions including Jr. DevEngineer, DevEngineer, and DevEngineer @ ING Software Development Center until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, Elena worked as a Feature Engineer Competent and then as a Feature Engineer Proficient at ING Tech. Currently, they are working as a Chapter Lead Feature Engineer @ ING Hubs Romania, starting in February 2022.

Elena Cotan has a Master's degree in CAD/CAE in Mechanical Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, which they obtained from 2008-2010. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in Aircraft design and aerodynamics, at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2003-2008. In addition to their academic degrees, Elena Cotan also holds several certifications in Agile Project Management, including Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in 2020, and Agile PM - Agile Project Management Foundation and Practitioner from APMG International in 2017. Elena is also pursuing a certification as an ING Chapter Lead Journey in 2023 from Trend Consult Group.
