Erik Pijls

Erik Pijls is an experienced IT leader currently serving as Tribe Lead Global IT Engineering and Operations at ING, responsible for delivering platforms and tools to manage the software development lifecycle. Previously held roles include Tribe Lead Local NL, Global Tribe Lead IT Operations, and Head of OIB/Infra NL/PaaS, focusing on IT operations integration, automation, and Platform-as-a-Service delivery. Erik founded Qualitate bv, specializing in luxury car imports, and has extensive experience as a Solution Architect at CGI and Logica. Prior roles at HP and Electronic Data Systems involved managing large international teams and overseeing messaging and collaborative services for substantial client bases. Erik holds a Master’s degree in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology.
