Heiko Fischer

Heiko Fischer is a seasoned information technology executive currently serving as the CIO and Member of ExCo at ING Romania since January 2023. Prior to this role, Heiko held the position of Managing Director Information Technology at ING-DiBa from July 2006 to December 2022. Heiko's career also includes experience as a Principal Consultant at Steria Mummert Consulting AG between January 1998 and July 2006, as well as a Trainer & Consultant at Progress Software from November 1996 to January 1998. Educationally, Heiko holds a Diplom Informatiker (FH) in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Fachhochschule Köln and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Computing from the University of Sunderland, complemented by an Abitur from Gymnasium Herkenrath.
