Marc van Balen is currently the Global Head of FM Balance Sheet Management at ING, a position held since 2016. They also serve as the Global Head of Trading Risk Management and Product Control at ING Bank, a role they have occupied since 2007. Previously, Marc held the position of Global Head Market Risk at Rabobank International from 2005 to 2007 and worked as a Senior Risk Manager at both Rabobank International and Robeco from 2000 to 2005. Marc earned a Master's degree in Economics from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, completing their studies in 1994.
