Jennifer Darst has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Lead Business Analyst for Ingage Partners, an employee-owned and award-winning IT Consulting company. Prior to this, they homeschooled high school level students in calculus, trigonometry, geometry, algebra, physics, chemistry, English and American literature and composition, Spanish and French foreign languages, and world history. In 2018, they volunteered as Secretary and Treasurer for PowerSurge First Robotics Club, writing MadCap Flare website for confusing registration process, providing system improvement helps, and assisting students with WIKI documentation and content. In 1985, they were a Research Intern for the University of Cincinnati. In 1984, they were an Engineering Co-op for Overhoff & Associates, Inc., developing manufacturing, inspection, testing, and reliability and maintainability prediction testing procedures. Finally, in 1983, they were a Research Co-op for Battelle, modifying boolean logic in fault tree analysis codes, developing statistical modeling FORTRAN codes, and linking software output with DGE graphics.

Jennifer Darst received their Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Cincinnati - College of Engineering and Applied Science between 1981 and 1986.
