Somaya Ben Allouch

Somaya Ben Allouch is an accomplished academic and industry leader specializing in human-system interaction for health and wellbeing. Currently serving as the Endowed Professor at the University of Amsterdam and the Executive Advisor for Robotics at inGen Dynamics Inc., Somaya also leads the Digital Life Research Group at Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Previously, Somaya held the position of Lector/Associate Professor at Saxion University and Assistant Professor at the University of Twente, focusing on research areas such as information and communication technologies, adoption of ambient intelligent technologies, and issues surrounding privacy in ubiquitous computing. Somaya has contributed to academic research through multiple visits to Stanford University and was involved with Stichting Educare. Somaya holds a Ph.D. and an MSc in Communication Science from the University of Twente.
