Akshay Balchhandra

Akshay Balchhandra has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Akshay is currently serving as the Head of Business Development & PPaaS at Ingenico since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Watchdata as the National Sales Head from May 2019 to September 2021, where they were responsible for business development and managing accounts for payment gateway and POS services. Akshay also held the role of Deputy General Manager of Sales at Global Cloud Xchange from February 2018 to May 2019, where they focused on maintaining client relationships and designing customized solutions in the areas of voice, IDC, cloud, CRM, and internet business. Before that, they worked as a Sales Manager at SS&C Advent from August 2014 to February 2018, and as a Business Development Manager at PLZ RECYCLE PRIVATE LIMITED from April 2011 to August 2014, where they contributed to achieving sales targets and expanding business networks in various product categories.

Akshay Balchhandra holds a Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). Akshay also has a Bachelor's Degree in B.COM from K.J Somaiya Arts and commerce, Mumbai University. In terms of additional certifications, Akshay has obtained several certifications from various institutions, including Udemy, Skillshare, upGrad, Yale University, National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), Vanderbilt University, and Saylor Academy. The certifications cover a range of topics such as resilience, pricing strategies, negotiation skills, emotional intelligence, blogging, sales management, social media marketing, and more.
