Iain MacDonald

Iain Macdonald is an experienced Operations Capability Manager at Ingenico Group, overseeing a team of Operations Engineers to introduce new hardware and software solutions for high-volume production. Previously, Iain served as Operations Manager at Ofgem E-serve, leading efforts for the Renewable Heat Incentive scheme. A career break allowed Iain to travel and volunteer, obtaining the Cambridge CELTA certification and teaching English in Thailand and Poland. Prior to this, Iain held various roles at FMC Technologies, including Portfolio and Project Manager for subsea equipment projects, and extensive experience at Sun Microsystems as a Principal Product/Project Manager and Supplier Engineer. Iain holds a First Class B Eng (Hons) in Physics and Electronics Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
