Omar Montilla

Omar Montilla is currently an Ingeniero Electromecánica at Ingenieros Emetres. Prior to this, they worked as an Ingeniero jefe de proyectos at TecnoRed S.A from May 2019 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the electrical engineering projects for the Substation, Transmission Line, Mining, Power System and Industrial System areas. Omar also developed engineering studies for SQM, in a seawater capture project, which consisted of the sectioning of line 1x 220 kV Los Cóndores - Parinacota through a 100 MVA switchgear and substation, CAPEX for 220 kV and 33 kV substations, and analyzing the connection possibilities for the 33 kV capture system circuits, including electromagnetic studies for the substation.

Some of their notable projects include the development of an power supply study for DP World in the San Antonio port, a study of the connection of 5 diesel generators of 1.9 MVA, S/E CENTRAL TRES PUENTES 13,2 kV. AMPLIACIÓN S/E CENTRAL TRES PUENTES 13,2 kV.
