Maham Farooqi

Maham Farooqi has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Maham started their career as an Elementary School Teacher at The City School Official in 2012 and later worked as an Elementary Education Teacher at Headstart School in 2014. Maham also gained marketing experience as a Marketing Intern at Ufone in 2014 and as a Content Writer at CHANNEL 7 TV in 2013.

In 2015, Maham joined SuperNova School, where they initially worked as a Secondary School Teacher and later transitioned to the role of HR Coordinator. In this position, they managed the O levels branch of the school, created and managed schedules, and provided administrative support.

Maham then worked as a Training Manager at Gusto Promotions in 2018, where they trained and mentored brand ambassadors, conducted interviews, and facilitated workshops and impact training sessions.

In 2019, Maham joined BC Hydro as a Recruitment Coordinator, actively participating in the recruitment cycle, creating jobs, conducting assessments, and preparing interviews and offer letters for unionized jobs.
