Jean-Sebastien Roy

Jean-Sebastien Roy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jean-Sebastien started their career as a Technicien en restauration de berge at COVABAR in 2009. Jean-Sebastien then worked as an Assistant de recherche at Lady Davis Institute, McGill University and as a Professionnel en environnement at Nature-Action Québec in 2009 and 2010 respectively.

In 2011, Jean-Sebastien joined Groupe DDM as a Biologiste. From 2014 to 2015, they worked at Industrial Alliance as a Stagiaire au support applicatif, where they were responsible for resolving bugs and executing specific data extractions and modifications. During this time, they gained experience in SQL, WinBatch, JCL, Cobol, EasytrievePlus, and VB6.

In 2015, Jean-Sebastien worked as a Stagiaire en informatique at Ville de Quebec, where they analyzed system requirements, modeled databases, and designed user interfaces. Later that year, they joined Cofomo Québec as an Analyste programmeur, developing business needs for the OSÉE project at Revenu Québec.

In 2016, Jean-Sebastien joined Université Laval as an Analyste programmeur. Here, they were responsible for analyzing and implementing new IT solutions in collaboration with functional analysts, business analysts, and organic architects. Jean-Sebastien worked on the development of a digital learning platform called Brio, which included public research functionalities and authenticated access for course content administration.

From 2021 to 2022, Jean-Sebastien worked as a Developer at Esri Canada. Jean-Sebastien'srole involved software development and they served as a crucial member of the team. Currently, they work as a Programmer at INGENO, starting in 2022.
