Xabier Irure

Xabier Irure has extensive experience in the wind energy sector, currently serving as the Global Commercial Director for Wind Energy at Ingeteam since July 2012. In addition, Xabier holds a position on the Board of Directors for the Global Wind Energy Council from June 2022 to April 2024. Previous roles include ownership of Muskaria Surf S.L. from January 2011 to September 2013, Sales Manager at DANA - SAC from January 2008 to January 2011, and Sales Manager for Dana Holding Company during the same period. Earlier career experiences include Export Area Manager at CAF, S.A., Program Manager and Sales Engineer roles at CAF-USA, Inc., and Manufacturing Engineering Manager at CAF-USA. Xabier holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad del País Vasco and has completed a PDC in Sales Marketing and Digital at Esade.
