Scott Topel

Scott Topel currently serves as a Sr Production Specialist and Blend Department Manager at Ingredion Incorporated since December 2022, where responsibilities include hiring, training, and supervising operations personnel while expanding the department to meet growth objectives. Prior to this, Scott held multiple roles at Wyndridge Cider Co from January 2014 to December 2022, including Director of Ops and Head Cider Maker, overseeing the production of over 800,000 gallons annually of various products and managing preventive maintenance and operational improvements. Experience also includes serving as Head Cider Maker at Wyndridge Farm, a Cider Production Consultant for various cideries and breweries, and founding Santa Cruz Scrumpy, where Scott specialized in cider production and local sourcing. Scott earned a B.S. with Honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz between 2004 and 2006.
