Youssef Beauferris

Youssef Beauferris is an accomplished engineer with a diverse background in biomedical engineering and digital signal processing. Currently holding a position at Amgen since February 2024, Youssef previously served as a Digital Signal Processing Engineer at HelpWear, where innovative deep-learning filtering methods for physiological signals were developed. A Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Calgary, Youssef enhanced Magnetic Resonance (MR) image reconstruction quality and contributed to three high-impact publications. Earlier experience includes applying deep-learning techniques at the Hotchkiss Brain Institute and conducting fluid dynamics research at NOVA Chemicals. Youssef's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary.
